Private Party Fee/Deposit
We're so glad you wanna party with us! We would love to host your event! Before you pay your deposit, please contact us, by phone, text or email, to ensure the date you'd like is available.
In order to secure this date, you MUST submit the $75 fee.
As the hostess, YOU are responsible for inviting guests and making sure they register by your workshop deadline. The deadline for ALL guest to register is 3 days prior to your event. After your deposit is paid, you will select the projects you'd like to have as options at your party. We will then create a private class just for you and send you a link that you can share with your guests so that they may register for the class. All guests must book online prior to the party.
If you cancel or reschedule your party for ANY reason your fee will be forfeited.
To get your full deposit back, you MUST have our required minimum number of guests register AND ATTEND your event. The minimum is 10 guests during the week and 15 on weekends {including yourself}. The deposit will be refunded within 48 hours after your event takes place. If you do not get your minimum number of guests {including yourself} registered by the deadline (3 days prior to event), your event will be cancelled and your fee will NOT be refunded.
Private Workshops will have exclusive access of our workshop for 3.5 hours on the date and time you have secured. ALL guests that plan to attend MUST register by the deadline! ONLY those who have registered can enter the studio so please be sure everyone registers.
Terms
Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil. If you would like to cancel your reservation, you must give a minimum of 48 hour notice. Please note a restocking fee of 30% of the total amount of the workshop will be deducted from your refund. Same day cancellations or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. Cancellations will be processed on the day we receive your cancellation request. It may take up to 2 weeks for the refund to return to the account you used to purchase your items. Planks & Paint reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.
Planks & Paint DIY Workshop Policies
Registration Project selection and customization information for your project is required at the time of registration on the class date page you are signing up for. Please be sure to double check your spelling and information to ensure your project stencil and materials will be ready for you at the beginning of class.

Class Cancellation Policy Registration fees are non-refundable. Registration cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance of a class will be granted a class credit for a future class.
Due to staffing, we reserve the right to cancel workshops if attendance is below 4 attendees.
Private Event Cancellation Policy A deposit is due when booking your private events. Once the minimum number of participants is met (12), we will refund your initial deposit at class. If you are unable to meet the minimum, the deposit will be forfeited. If you choose to cancel your private party the deposit will not be refunded due to the nature of our studio and the demand for private party times on our calendar.
For private events, we require all attendees to register and provide complete personalization info for their project at least 72 hours in advance so we can prepare the materials for your event ahead of time.
Safety Waiver
I understand that I will use and/or be exposed to drills, sand paper, wire, paint and water based stains during Planks & Paint workshops. I agree to be responsible for any damages to Planks & Paint’s tools, equipment or facilities, to the extent and in the percentage I cause such damages.
I recognize there may be certain inherent risks in participating in Planks & Paint workshops. I agree to take precautions and observe all Planks & Paint policies, recommendations, directions, rules and warnings; whether provided orally or in writing. I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself.
I further agree to release and discharge Planks & Paint for any injury, loss or damage that may arise out of my participation in a Planks & Paint workshop or my presence in the Planks & Paint facility whether caused by me, Planks & Paint or any third party.
I agree to indemnify and defend Planks & Paint against all claims, causes of action, damages, judgments costs or expenses including reasonable attorney’s fees and other litigation costs which may in any way arise from my participation in Planks & Paint workshops or my presence in Planks & Paint facilities.
